Role: Senior Testing & Commissioning Engineer (Substations up to 765kV)
Experience Required: 3–6 Years in HT/LT diagnostics, relay testing, and primary equipment validation.
Location: Pan-India Site Mobilization (Headquartered in Chennai)
Core Responsibilities: Leading on-site pre-commissioning checks, numerical relay calibration using NABL-calibrated kits, and coordinating final grid charging sequences with local electrical inspectors.
We serve heavy industrial sectors including Cement, Sugar, Oil & Gas, Renewable Energy setups, and public/private power utilities. Our operations scale up to complex 765kV substation environments.
Yes. Our engineering teams operate on a nationwide mobilization model. Projects require short-to-medium-term deployment at client industrial plants and utility sites to execute erection, testing, or maintenance routines directly in the field.
All technical manpower supplied by SP Tech undergoes rigorous vetting. Senior Commissioning Engineer – Protection & Control
Experience Required: 5–8 Years
Location: Chennai (with nationwide site deployment)
Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Senior Commissioning Engineer to lead the testing, commissioning, and final energization of high-voltage sub-stations up to 765kV. You will be responsible for validating protection schemes, conducting secondary injection tests, and ensuring all critical switchgear systems are fully grid-compatible before going live.

Key Responsibilities:
Execute testing and commissioning of protection relays, circuit breakers, CTs, PTs, and power transformers.
Perform secondary injection testing and scheme checking for intricate protection loops.
Ensure all on-site operations strictly adhere to Indian Electricity (IE) rules and NABL quality standards.
Required Skills:
Hands-on expertise with secondary calibration kits (e.g., Omicron, Megger, or similar toolsets).

SAS / SCADA Integration Specialist
Experience Required: 3–6 Years

Key Responsibilities:
Configure and map communication protocols, specifically IEC 61850, IEC 101, and IEC 104.
Integrate Intelligent Electronic Devices (IEDs) and RTUs into centralized SCADA platforms.
Perform system architecture design, functional testing, and troubleshooting of network switches and gateways.
Required Skills:
Proven experience in IEC 61850 protocol mapping and BCU configuration.
Familiarity with prominent industrial SCADA software platforms.

Site Execution Engineer – AIS / GIS Substations
Experience Required: 2–5 Years

Job Description: We are looking for an execution-focused Site Engineer to oversee the physical erection, installation, and layout of Air Insulated (AIS) and Gas Insulated (GIS) substations. You will direct field labor, coordinate structured cable laying, and ensure primary equipment is perfectly integrated on schedule.
